Crazy Life

Well I officially have a used furniture store in my garage. Well none of it is for sale. I really need ot sleep something that is hard when John is out of town but I am so driven to finish polishing the antique desk I bought from my friend Laurie, Paint and stain the huge hutch I found on Craigs list that I am going to put in my entry and display my quilts in, finish painting my chairs and table and putting all the hide on the seats, make my mosaic stepping stones for the back yard, finish projects for Miranda's birthday, Paint the church pew and the shelves in the office, paint the wall in the office, start my picture wall. Ok I am tired. I asked John if he thought I was crazy and said "No, I think it is good for you to have projects." How sweet but I will remind him of that when the garage is so full you can't walk thru it. It has been so exciting to find such fun things and I love to create so it keeps me out of trouble while John is busy being Bishop and traveling. We are so excited Ross turns 21 tomorrow (I can't possibly be old enough to have a 21 year old. Oh wait I forgot I have a 23 year old. where does the time go). And then Ross gets home in 20 days. Now that has gone fast. We are all so excited. I guess I have stayed up till midnight again. Dang this schedule will make me old quick. Oh well there are sew many projects and sew little time might as well live it up. I'll post before and after pics of all my projects when I am done. Don't be holding your breath or anything.

Cabo, Mexico

Well we love to travel and we had a great time in Los Cabo Mexico last week. We took our two kids that are at home and had so much fun. The weather was gorgious and the water was beautiful. I am however amazed at how desolate it is and that it really is nothing but desert. We had sky miles and so we had very inexpensive plane tickets and we rented a friends time share so it was so affordable but that is usually how we travel cheap. Had a wonderful vacation.

My Mom's Mother's Day Quilt

My mom's house is yellow and blue so I thought she needed something to match. It made me happy to look at the colors for I love blue and yellow and white together
